Atomic Bride: music review

atomic-bride_cover

Combining futuristic edginess and irreverent arrangements on “Electric Order,” Seattle’s Atomic Bride possesses both the intensity and unusual chemistry that will blow you away. Astra Elane’s potent vocals, reminiscent of The B-52s’ Kate Pierson, fit with the gritty old-school riffs of “Angel of Hell.” Chris Cool rips it up on the disturbing apocalyptic power-punk “Americium 241.” Neil Sedaka and Shaun Cassidy contribute to the confabulated “We Got Muscle” which fuses a bit of everything Atomic Bride can offer. This EP is just a tease. Four songs will leave you aching for more from this enviably cool band.
